adZU is already the tech industry's foremost automated marketing platform. Now it has been extended to allow users to integrate automated Facebook campaigns into their marketing. Already tested, proven and delivering unparalleled results for Mercedes-Benz, Code are rolling out the functionality to the rest of the adZU user base.

Big Data – that you can play with
Big Data – that you can play with

What adZU’s Facebook functionality delivers adZU provides a single console for managing hundreds of retail-orientated Facebook campaigns, meeting the needs of brand owners and local retailers. The functionality is fully integrated with adZU's existing off-line and digital functionality, allowing users to manage all of their investment in all media in one place. How it works adZU has been fully integrated with the Facebook Ads API. adZU Admin users set up templates consisting of three broad components:

  • Targets. Use Facebook targeting to identify the most relevant audience for (e.g) an A-Class campaign
  • Content. Admins specify which images, Calls-to-action, Click-throughs etc can be used in the campaign
  • Finance. Admins establish optimum budgeting parameters

adZU end-users (e.g. Mercedes retailers) can then select templates, customise the content within the rules, manage their investment and deploy the ads to Facebook.  As they create the campaigns within adZU which is already managing their press, DM, e-mail and digital display activity, it is simple to create social campaigns to amplify their existing marketing. Once the campaign is posted on Facebook, the ads are automatically geo-targeted and are only displayed to Facebook users within the retailer’s catchment area. Optimising Performance As soon as the campaign is live, adZU users are able to track performance.adZU automatically optimises campaign performance against client financial and media benchmarks.Local users are able to monitor performance on real time dashboards, showing summary and granular performance data.

As adZU’s Facebook functionality is so easy to use, end users can create dozens of campaigns in a few seconds, allowing them to create ‘Test and Learn’ projects providing invaluable data on how the audience is responding to their messages. As adZU’s Facebook functionality is so easy to use, end users can create dozens of campaigns in a few seconds, allowing them to create ‘Test and Learn’ projects providing invaluable data on how the audience is responding to their messages.

Why manage Facebook through adZU? Simplicity and Speed

  • adZU allows you to manage hundreds /thousands of localised campaigns simultaneously, creating a huge admin saving

Localised campaigns-following brand strategies and rules

  • The brand and its agencies have full control of targeting and content options.  End users benefit from this insight, whilst being able to produce campaigns, localised to their market.  Effective targeting, delivered only to local customers.

Cost Effectiveness adZU optimises the performance of every campaign.  And because we automatically manage all campaigns centrally, we prevent the bid inflation that happens when local users bid against each other.

Shared Leanings to Optimise Performance

Rather than hundreds of retailers running separate campaigns with all the data lost, adZU aggregates all the local performance data.  This means we can see trends more easily and apply learnings from one retailer or region to all others

Reach and Performance Cost Effectiveness

Put simply, Facebook creates greater reach for a local marketer than any other medium.  Press, outdoor, digital display – none come close to audience size. And so far, the results have seen Facebook destroy all other media types in the cost effectiveness of the ads. Results We are still learning but so far we’ve seen: Off-the-scale performance and cost effectiveness whether measured in clicks or reach Great adoption amongst end users who appreciate being able to access and manage Facebook campaigns quickly and easily 2 cars sold by Mercedes retailers to customers who originated from Facebook clicks More info – contact Matt McNeany
