Code releases Facebook integration to adZU

The latest version of adZU is up in production and features integration with Facebook to enable bulk management of local Facebook campaigns.  Mercedes-Benz is one of the first clients to adopt and the results are really great. We will do a full post on the strategic approach we are taking, but here are the headlines:

  • Local advertisers can build targeted Facebook ad campaigns.  The targeting is both by brand and by location.  We are using brand data to identify likely prospects (eg for an A-Class) and then we combine dealer sales territory with Facebook's geo-targeting to only reach relevant prospects in the dealer's local area.
  • End users can build multiple Facebook ads, using central brand assets within a couple of clicks.  This allows us to test which creative treatments work best
  • We are continuously optimising performance, both for impressions, clicks and cost per click - refining the learnings across the hundreds of campaigns we are running so all dealers benefit.
  • We can scale from one campaign to thousands in minutes - and it takes a few seconds to manage the campaign.
So far, the results are off the scale.  We knew it would work and be a big step forward for our clients - but had not anticipated this level of effectiveness.
