Code are pleased to announce we’ve recently hired former Sony Music VP of Mobile, Sean Rosenberg as our Global Head of Mobile. Sean is responsible for extending Code’s mobile marketing services and creating mobile technology solutions for Code’s clients.

Based in the New York office, he’s responsible for leading mobile engagements across North America, South America, Europe and Asia. Prior to Code, Sean founded the mobile marketing, sales & business development practices at Sony Music’s RCA/JIVE Label Group.  From launching the first artist branded smartphone apps with P!nk & David Cook to brokering sponsorships with Verizon & AT&T, he was recognized by Billboard Magazine as a mobile leader in a 30 under 30 executive profile.

While still at Sony Music, Sean was promoted to Global Account Manager to oversee multi-country relationships with Spotify & Nokia. Sean then transitioned to senior roles at technology start-ups to pursue his entrepreneurial interests.  As the Managing Director for Grapple Mobile USA, he developed mobile applications for IBM, Calvin Klein, Pfizer & Rodale Publishing.

As SVP Business Development for Indaba Music, he developed social media campaigns for Converse, Hertz & Spotify. Sean commented,“Consumers have adopted a mobile first lifestyle that is centred around smartphones and tablets.

This shift in media consumption has created an abundance of opportunities for brands to take advantage of.  I’m very excited to bring Code’s extensive technology capabilities to brands who want to transform how they transact and communicate in this mobile first world.” Code’s CEO Matt McNeany added, “Over the past decade, we’ve seen our clients’ technology needs evolve.

The first place where brands engage with their audience is now on a mobile device.  To create rich and profitable experiences, our clients need Innovation and Experience – in technology, in design and in strategy. This is what Sean brings to Code.  We are lucky to have him – so are our clients – and with his addition, Code has capabilities across the three big ‘M’s, Marketing, Media & Mobile.”

With offices across five continents, Code is structured to quickly deliver technology at scale for multi-national businesses.  Value is created for clients by unlocking regional insights and leveraging best-in-class technology practices.

Code is positioned to create localized experiences for consumers that are supported by sophisticated global technology services.
